The spring (vernal) equinox is also referred to as the March equinox. Equinox is Latin for "equal night" which refers to 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night (although realtiy suggests its not exactly). This March equinox marks the time where the sun crosses the equator from the southern to northern hemisphere. You might notice that in the March equinox, the sun will rise directly in the East and set directly in the West.
With respect to real estate, the March equinox is typically the beginning of the busy season for buying and selling homes. It is a time for new beginnings, fresh starts, and buyers wanting to settle into their new homes before summer so that they can enjoy their summer in their new home. So, if you're buying or selling, be the early bird and get the worm...don't wait. Give me a call!
Welcome home.
